Recreational Vehicle Insurance
RV Insurance is designed for Motor-homes, Travel-trailers, Fifth-wheels and Motor-coaches. The insurance policy will help you protect your investment so you can sit back and enjoy your trip.
Some typical coverages available are listed below.
Liability Coverage:
Bodily Injury coverage pays damages for other people’s injuries or death resulting from an at-fault accident involving an insured vehicle or driver.
Property Damage coverage pays for damage to other people’s property resulting from an at-fault accident involving an insured vehicle or driver.
Physical Damage Coverage:
Collision coverage pays for accidental damage to your insured vehicle caused by collision with another vehicle or stationary object.
Comprehensive coverage pays for loss or damage to your vehicle caused by fire, theft, vandalism, hail, windstorm, riot, falling objects, flood, collision with an animal, and other events as stated in your policy contract.
Optional Coverages
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage pays for damages resulting from bodily injury or death arising out of accidents caused by motorists whose liability limits are not sufficient to cover your claim, uninsured motorists and by hit-and-run motorists.
Full Timers Coverage: Provides comprehensive personal liability, stored personal contents, and additional living expense coverage for those living full-time in their RV.
Vacation Liability Coverage: Pays for bodily injury or property damage to others occurring at your vacation campsite.
Emergency Expense Coverage: Reimburses you for expenses incurred following an accident or other covered loss
Personal Property Coverage: Covers items that you take onboard your RV, such as housewares, tools, clothing and sporting equipment, for their full replacement value. Although these items may be covered by your homeowner’s policy, typically only 10% of your homeowner’s coverage extends to off-premise property. That may not be enough to cover the items in your RV.
